Having the opportunity to be an orthodontist means the world to me. I absolutely love being able to transform my patients’ smiles into healthy, functional, and amazingly beautiful ones. Seeing a patient happy and confident with their new smile at the conclusion of treatment is always exciting and gratifying.

I see so many different ages and types of patients. Each is a unique individual with their own concerns, interests, and dreams. The nature of orthodontic treatment allows me to get to know them on a personal level. As their treatment proceeds, I follow their lives and discuss all sorts of topics with them. I hear about what is happening in their lives, at school, on the sports field, in their music, and extracurricular groups. I learn something from every one of them.

Our office is a warm, inviting, and comfortable environment. Patients and their families enjoy the relaxing atmosphere knowing this is a place where they can really feel at home. Our wonderful team truly loves getting to know each patient personally. Though all of our team members are dedicated to learning the newest treatment modalities, and providing the most reliable, advanced care available, those never conflict with their sense of compassion. Their wide variety of interests and sense of humor also make each day fun and interesting. There are always plenty of smiles and laughter to go around!

My educational Background includes:

  • Wake Forest University, Bachelor of Science Degree
  • Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Doctorate of Dental Medicine
  • Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Orthodontic Certificate
  • Navajo Native American reservation, Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency

Continuing Education
By attending continuing education meetings, seminars, and remaining involved in professional associations, I ensure that I am always able to provide my patients with superior orthodontic treatment and state-of-the-art modalities that deliver the most rapid, painless, and effective treatment.

I have found the many hours of the Invisalign® continuing education in which I participate to be particularly beneficial in serving my patients.

I am an active member of the following associations and groups:

My wife Maddy and I live in Bethesda with our daughter Wesley and son Archie. Away from work, I enjoy watching movies, listening to music, and reading. In my spare time, I also love watching sports and am a big fan of the Green Bay Packers, all Wake Forest teams, and the Washington Capitals.
